We first met in 2005, when we were still in grade school. What began as a simple friendship slowly grew into something more in junior high. Then our paths diverged—until 2021, when a simple “your license plate’s going to expire soon” message reignited a flame that once burned brightly.

Fast forward four years, and here we are—engaged in late 2025—when our ring fingers suddenly felt a little heavier.

Now, after two decades of friendship and one almost-expired license plate, we’ve finally decided to make it official. In just a few weeks, we’ll be upgrading from “childhood friends” to “husband and wife,” legally bound for life. We can’t wait to begin forever—filled with bad jokes, and of course, no more expired license plates.
